Sawa wasabi production needs a very clear water with a stable temperature all year round. It remains therefore very limited. Sawa wasabi has an incomparable taste. It procures in the mouth a heat sensation, rapidly dissipating to leave a sweet and aromatic taste.
Purpose: Wasabi is for instance used as a condiment in the Japanese cuisine, in sushis or makis.
To fully enjoy its flavour, it needs to be grated at the latest moment with a small holes grater.
Once started, the conservation will last even longer in a paper or a wet tissue.
